Using advanced sensor technology, CanMap utilize the latest GNSS hardware and IMUs to offer optimal positioning performance. Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) allow the determination of the 3D position of a point on the Earth’s surface. Global GNSS systems include GPS (US), GLONASS (Russia), BeiDou (China) and Galileo (Europe). Global systems are further assisted by augmentation systems to deliver better accuracy. These augmentation systems include WAAS, EGNOS, GAGAN and MSAS. This technology combined with best-in-class survey-grade GNSS receivers can achieve sub-centimeter position accuracy.

Our Android-based software is designed for multiple types of surveys, road engineering, mapping and GIS projects. The software is compatible with CanMap’s professional controllers and GIS handhelds, Android phones, tablets and other 3rd party Android devices. CanMap field solutions enable consistent, standardized data collection and keep you connected to the office. Our software solutions provide a complete approach to layout and capture 3D site layouts. Working with our integration group to implement field and office workflows provides maximum value from your investment.

Our all-in-one post-processing desktop software supports processing multi-sourced data from all kinds of surveying equipment, including RTK, total station, UAV, GIS, 3D laser and levels. This one-stop service simplifies the workflow and improves the efficiency of field data processing. HBC enables users to finish the joint operations of multiple pieces of equipment in projects more easily, enabling users to fix various problems, like switching between lots of different processing software.
